BYU-Idaho Graduation

So even though I wont actually get my degree until April, I walked in December (because we moved).  I LOVE BYU-Idaho and I’m so grateful to have gone there.  With 2 1/2 years on campus and 3 1/2 years online, I finally will have a degree in Marriage & Family Studies and International Studies.

I was so lucky to have my wonderful Grandma and Grandpa there with me.  They are so supportive of me and have always been there for me.  My parents also came and drove ALL night in the storm going 25 miles/hour!  They are the best and I can’t believe how lucky I am to have such amazing parents.

A few days after my graduation, my sweet grandpa fell on the ice and injured his head (Idaho in the winter is terrible!).  He was bleeding in his brain, and I was so scared.  The doctors didn’t know if he would make it or if he would have permanent brain damage.  We all witnessed a miracle when he regained consciousness and didn’t have apparent brain damage.  He has terrible head pain, and grandma says that he has trouble remembering recent things.  But we couldn’t be more grateful that he is still here with us and getting better each day.

I can’t wait for my cute grandparents to meet my little girl!  They are amazing and I love them so much.

Dinner with the Girls!

March 2010 169

Holly, Natalie, Whitney, Me, Ariel

These are my BEST friends from elementary school.  We met in kindergarten (Whit joined us in 4th grade) and we have stayed friends every since.  We have all since moved away, but when we get together, it’s like we’ve never been apart.  I had so much fun catching up with them – we could have stayed at Olive Garden all night chatting!  Love you girlies :)

One of the funniest things that I remember about our “crew” was when we dressed in matching clothes (yes, white shirts and jean overalls) for our 6th grade field trip. Nerds!

John Mayer Concert

March 2010 171

John Mayer came with Owl City to Usana.  Jonny and I had such a fun time!  Owl City is adorable and great live and John Mayer is a musical genius – plus a hilarious pot-head.

Erin Wall Meads BFA Show

I was just thinking…isn’t it neat when someone is good at doing something they love and they follow their dreams to pursue that something?

My friend Erin is one of those people.  Talented artist + beautiful personality + stunningly gorgeous = Erin Wall Meads.  Thanks Erin, for putting on an incredible art show and being such a wonderful friend!  We love you.

p.s. That’s me:)

Jonny and I went to the show with Tori, Josh and little Peyton.  We had so much fun with them!

Paradise, Here We Come!

Jonny and I went to Hawaii for spring break and didn’t want to leave!  It was beautiful and we had a great time just the two of us.

008

No, this snowy mountain isn’t in Hawaii, it’s Washington.  We had a layover on our way over in Seattle and I had to take a picture for James, who’s serving a mission there.  Seattle was pretty, but we decided to continue on to Hawaii.

We hiked Diamond Head on our first day there.  The hike wasn’t too bad (other than a million stairs), but the view was AMAZING!

We love the beach!

One of my favorite things about Hawaii…the Swap Meet!  You can buy everything you’d find all over the islands in one spot for a super low price!

Pearl Harbor

Waimea Valley Adventure.  We jumped off the Waimea rock – you can see the rock behind us:)  It was scarier than usual because the waves were big!   After we jumped, I layed out in the sun (you’d never know it) while Jonny body surfed the waves.  Then we hiked the nature walk to the waterfall.

Here are some more adventures from our vacay.  Amazing carrot cake from Ted’s, Chinaman’s Hat, Dole Plantation, and Shark’s Cove.

And even more adventures!!!   PCC, LDS Temple, Buddhist Temple, and Hukilau Cafe.  We were so sad to come home, but can’t wait to go back!

Mco’s 16!

I seriously cannot even believe that my baby brother Mikey turned 16!  Watch out drivers!  We went to Joy Luck to celebrate.  Michael loves Asian people- I think it’s because he’s so smart like them!  Anyway, here we are wishing we were Asian:

The only thing that would’ve made this party better was his brother Jamesy (who’s serving a mission)…oh, or a new car!

Cristy’s Cabin

Well, since we forgot to take pictures until the morning of, almost everyone had left so this is all I’ve got:

The boys did what they do best…guitar hero:)   The girlies did what we do best….talk!  We had such a great time and it was especially good to get together because Erin & Matt and Amy & Adam are moving soon.  We’re so excited for them to have their adventures, but way sad that they won’t be close by anymore:(

Slumber Partae!

Jonny and I had been wanting to hang out with these cute girlies (our nieces), so we invited them over for a sleepover.  Oh boy did we have our hands full!  They are used to Grandma Cid’s house that is big and has TONS of toys.  We had to be a little more creative, but we had more fun than you can imagine building forts, drawing pictures, eating junk (not too much Callie!), watching Tink, making milkshakes, and everything else you can imagine.  Thanks for coming girlies.  Sure do love you two!

Hangin out in the fort.  Aryanna was so helpful with Kita. She is so tender and was very well behaved.  Not to mention-super cute!

IMGP0219

Aunties Kelly and Steph came over to help us out.  We had so much fun with them!

Yes, that is Kita wrapped up in a Ute’s snuggie.  Notice her tiny hands sticking out.  This girl is hilar!

Milkshake time!
